Variance from Critical Area Buffer Management Area (BMA) and Variance from maximum height requirements, Chesapeake Bay Maritime Museum at Navy Point, Tax Map 0200, Parcel 1607, and Lot 1

The public is hereby notified the St. Michaels Board of Zoning Appeals will hear an application for a variance to the Critical Area Buffer Management Area (BMA) setback provisions, and a variance from maximum height requirements, Navy Point, at the Chesapeake Bay Maritime Museum (Tax map 0200, parcel 1607, and lot 1) for owner and applicant(s), Chesapeake Bay Maritime Museum. The owner is seeking relief from the setback requirements as set forth in 340- 27.13 Buffer Management Area (BMA) of the Town Code, as well as relief from the Maximum height provision as set forth in §340-30B(5)(a) of the Town Code, which establishes a maximum building height of 35’ in the Maritime Museum Zoning District. The case will be heard by the Board of Zoning Appeals on Tuesday, November 20, 2018 at 5:30 pm at the Edgar M. Bosley, Jr. Building, 300 Mill Street, St. Michaels, MD 21663.

A copy of variance application is available for review in the Edgar M. Bosley, Jr. Building (Town Office), 300 Mill Street, Monday-Friday between the hours of 8:30 A.M. and 4:30 P.M.
