March 30, 2023 from 4-7pm – GMB Community Input Session Open House for West Harbor Road/East Chew Avenue Sea Level Rise and Stormwater Flooding Conceptual Design

The Town of St. Michaels and the Climate Change/Sea Level Rise Commission (CC/SLRC) have contracted with GMB to complete a “Resiliency Through Restoration: West Harbor Road/East Chew Avenue Flood Mitigation Feasibility Assessment and Conceptual Design”. GMB is holding an Open House to gather community input for this study on Thursday, March 30, 2023 from 4-7pm at the Boy Scout Cabin, located at 407 St. Mary’s Square.

The public is invited to join Brent Jett (author of the initial Harbor and Stormwater Infrastructure Study) and others from GMB to better understand this study, ask questions, and provide crucial community input. No formal presentation is planned. All members of the St. Michaels community are welcome to this information gathering session to speak with the GMB crew. Members of the Climate Change/Sea Level Rise Commission will also be available to field questions.
