
INVITATION TO BIDDERS
The Town of St. Michaels has been awarded a federal grant from the Federal Emergency Management Agency for additional harbor flooding and stormwater management mitigation studies. The work will be managed by the Climate Change/Sea Level Rise Commission (CC/SLRC) along with staff. The federal funds originate from the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) and are distributed and managed through the Maryland Department of Emergency Management. The funding will be used for two projects:
PROJECT AREA Cherry Street/Honeymoon Bridge, Harbor Walkway, Burns St. and Mill St.
The results of these studies will be to develop flood mitigation measures and design construction drawings that can be used for permitting and for future grants to construct improvements.
We are proposing to hire consulting services to accomplish the scope of work in the RFP (See attached RFP).

Submission Date:
Sealed proposals are due on or before September, 8th 2023, at 4:00 pm. The Proposal may be hand delivered or mailed to the Town of St. Michaels, 300 Mill Street, PO Box 206, St. Michaels, Maryland 21663. Any proposals received after that time will not be accepted.
Pre-Bid Meeting:
A pre-bid meeting was held on August 17th, 2023, at 10:15 a.m. in the Boy Scout Cabin at 407 St. Mary’s Square, St. Michaels. We extend our appreciation to all those who attended.
