The Talbot County Board of Education operates public schools serving pre-Kindergarten through 12th grade in St. Michaels. The schools lie on a 55-acre parcel of land south of the town’s business district. The St. Michaels school campus containing the public elementary, middle, and high schools.

The town also offers preschool and daycare options, including before-school and after-school care.

The St. Michaels Site of Critchlow Adkins Children’s Centers offers year-round, full-day two year old, preschool, and wrap-around pre-kindergarten programs. A before- and after-school program is offered for school age children in kindergarten through sixth grade. The program for school age children is offered all day during most school closings and the summer months. All programs operate from 6:45 a.m.-5:30 p.m.

St. Luke’s School offers preschool classes for 2, 3 and 4 year olds. The school is committed to providing a program that helps children develop intellectually, socially, emotionally and physically in a Christian environment.
